
Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced his floor leaders for this year's legislative session, identifying the legislators who will advance his administration’s agenda. In an official announcement, Kemp highlighted the administration’s work with the General Assembly over the past seven years to pass policies and investments aimed at benefiting Georgians.
The announced floor leaders come from both the Georgia State Senate and House of Representatives. In the Senate, Senators Drew Echols of District 49 and Bo Hatchett of District 50 will serve as leaders. In the House, Representatives Soo Hong (District 103), Will Wade (District 9), Matthew Gambill (District 15), and Devan Seabaugh (District 34) will take leadership roles. Governor Kemp and his wife, Marty, expressed their appreciation to the lawmakers for their service.
This group of floor leaders will guide initiatives and bills aligned with the Kemp administration’s agenda. The administration’s legislative priorities are expected to focus on economic growth, education reforms, and public safety improvements, among other issues affecting Georgia.
