The Gresham Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect involved in a vehicle theft on January 10. Officers approached a man entering a green Honda Prelude with altered plates, but he fled in the stolen car when told to remove the keys, as reported by the Gresham Police Department.
The stolen Honda Prelude was later found abandoned on the 1000 block of SE 179 Ave. and returned to its owner, but the suspect’s identity is still unknown. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in solving the case, as stated by the Gresham Police Department.
According to the Gresham Police Department on their Facebook page, "Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect Who Fled in Stolen Vehicle." Anyone with information about the suspect can contact [email protected] with case #26-1314 or submit anonymous tips to the Gresham Police tip-line at 503-618-2719.
