Yesterday, a fire broke out in a residence on Maipuhi Street in Ewa Beach, prompting a response from the Honolulu Fire Department. According to KITV, a 911 call was received at 6:58 p.m., and firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the garage of the single-story home. The crew conducted an offensive attack, confirmed the house was unoccupied, and extinguished the fire by 7:31 p.m.
While checking the property to ensure safety, the Honolulu Fire Department reported no injuries. The fire was contained without harm to any residents. Smoke had been coming from the garage, and firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, as per Hawaii News Now.
