Jefferson Parish residents seeking help with energy bills can attend a Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LiHEAP) outreach meeting organized by Jefferson Parish Community Action Programs (JeffCAP). The event will take place tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kenner Senior Center, 641 Compromise Street, Kenner, as per the Jefferson Parish's Facebook post.
Applicants should bring identification for all adults in the household, Social Security cards for all members, current utility bills for electricity and gas, and proof of income or a Zero Income Form if applicable. Acceptable income documents include recent check stubs, W-2s, tax returns, Social Security or SSI award letters, and bank statements.
