The fire, reported at 8:24PM, resulted in mild fire damage to the structure, compounded by moderate smoke and water damages. The ongoing investigation leans towards an accidental origin for the fire. 15 firefighters spanning from 3 engine companies, a squad company, and a ladder company, under the command of a Chief Officer, attended the scene, supported by a medic unit and a Chief Officer from Cole County EMS.
