The Jefferson County Health Department is offering a convenient solution for parents who struggle to fit dental appointments into their family’s busy schedules. According to a social media post from the Jefferson County Health Department, the 'Smiles To Go' mobile dental program will be set up at Sherwood Elementary School from February 17 to 26. This initiative allows children to receive full dental services without leaving school grounds, helping to reduce absences and prevent parents from missing work.
Registration for the services appears straightforward. Parents are invited to simply click a link, fill out a form, and let the health department handle the rest. The post ensures that prior any non-preventative treatment, an emailed treatment information sheet and consent form will be provided for approval. This system is designed not only for ease but also to keep parents informed every step of the way, including a follow-up report sent home post-visit that details the exact procedures performed on their kids.
