In a collaborative effort, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office has joined with the San Jose Police Department to locate 84-year-old Pedro Arrendondodiaz Diaz, whose absence has raised concerns about his well-being. The search, which has now marshaled the resources of the Sheriff's K9 units, drones, and ground search teams, began following Arrendondodiaz's disappearance yesterday.
According to a social media post by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, Arrendondodiaz was last seen at 9:20 AM. He stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 178 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. His attire, as last observed, included a blue hat, a red flannel jacket, gray pants, and black shoes.
As Arrendondodiaz is believed to be on foot and at risk, officials are urging the community to remain vigilant and report any sightings directly to 9-1-1.
