Winds will likely pick up to blow 5 to 15 mph, and gusts could to reach as high as 25 mph.
The minimal shower chance carries into Tuesday night before the odds drop off past midnight. The overnight will see largely the same cloudy conditions with a low near 49 degrees, and continued gusty southwest winds. Wednesday offers some respite with a partly sunny sky and another high ticking up near 66, while the wind remains light, according to the NWS.
While the week started on a calmer note, the chance of rain rises significantly as the week rolls on. The NWS indicates that Thursday will face a 20 percent chance of showers in the afternoon, and a 40 percent chance by nightfall. Temperatures on Thursday night are expected to be warmer, with lows around 56 degrees. Friday will likely see showers, with chances ramping up to 60 percent, and temperatures peaking near 70.
The unsettled weather pattern seems to persist into the weekend with a 40 percent chance of showers during the day on Saturday, followed by a reduction to 20 percent on Saturday night. Temperatures will take a plunge on Saturday night, with lows hovering around 33 degrees. By Sunday, skies are anticipated to clear up with mostly sunny weather and a cooler high near 45 to close out the week, according to the NWS.
