The 125,000-square-foot center is poised to make waves with its specialized services in semiconductor equipment parts cleaning, coating, and repair. As reported by MesaNow, this opening signifies not just an expansion of KoMiCo's footprint to a third location within the states, but also their tenth globally, marking a substantial commitment to the region's burgeoning tech sector.
KoMiCo's arrival in Arizona means an initial blessing of 50 jobs, a figure set to quadruple over the coming years. The company's strategic position, near major semiconductor manufacturers in the region, allows for prompt response to industry exigencies. As cited by MesaNow, James Jin, CEO of KoMiCo America, emphasized the local benefits, stating "We're proud to create new jobs, invest in local capabilities, and build a foundation that supports U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and our employees for years to come." The Mesa facility boasts the latest in cleanroom technology and diagnostic tools, with an investment surpassing $60 million. KoMiCo, a subsidiary of the MiCo group, aligns itself with several sister companies such as MiCo Ceramics and MiCo Ltd, which provides raw materials crucial to KoMiCo's operations.
