The La Mesa Police Department has issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating Tiffanie Russ, a 24-year-old woman last seen yesterday. According to a social media post by the La Mesa Police Department, Russ departed from the Heritage Inn on Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa, reportedly heading to a nearby taco shop, but never made it to her destination. An associate from the hotel reported her missing shortly thereafter, triggering a search for Russ by local authorities.
Throughout the day, La Mesa Police investigators remained in contact with Ms. Russ’s family and continued actively searching for her, so far without finding any leads. There does not appear to be any reason for Ms. Russ to have voluntarily gone missing, and she has no history of sudden disappearance. Ms. Russ is described as a Black female, 24 years old, standing 5’4” tall, weighing 150 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair styled into a bun at the time she went missing. She was last seen wearing a blue headscarf, a black “Puma” sweater, black pants, and red sandals, and is known to travel primarily by foot, with connections to the Allied Gardens area of San Diego.
In their effort to locate Russ, the La Mesa Police Department has asked the public for help in reuniting her with her family. "Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the La Mesa Police Department at 619-667-1400 immediately," implores the department's statement. The community's engagement is crucial as authorities work against the clock to find Ms. Russ.
