Las Vegas police have arrested a woman in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a pedestrian on December 11, 2025. The incident happened on East Katie Avenue near South Maryland Parkway. The driver of a Ford Fusion was taken into custody on Tuesday and faces hit-and-run charges, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 11:17 p.m., a 30-year-old man was struck outside a marked crosswalk and rushed to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene, but police quickly located the vehicle and are still seeking information from the public, as reported by Hoodline.
