The east side of Wright Avenue between Terry Parkway and Hector Avenue will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 12. The closure will remain in effect until 5 p.m. on May 22, according to the Jefferson Parish's Facebook post.
Motorists are advised to use the roadway on the west side of the canal as an alternate route. This closure is necessary to allow for roadway, sidewalk, and drainage improvements, as reported by the Jefferson Parish.
