
Last Friday, a man and his infant child were seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Brook Hollow Parkway in Norcross in an area not designated for pedestrians. The man was carrying his child in a body harness when they were hit on the left side by a northbound vehicle, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
The man was taken to Northside Gwinnett by Gwinnett Fire and EMS, and the infant was transported to CHOA (Arthur Blank Memorial) with serious injuries. A female pedestrian with them was not injured, and the names of those involved have not been released.
WSB-TV reported that the Georgia State Patrol confirmed a family was struck by a vehicle while crossing outside a crosswalk in Norcross. The condition of the injured parties and potential charges have not been released, and the crash remains under investigation. Authorities continue to examine the incident, while local efforts to improve crosswalk safety and public traffic awareness remain ongoing.
