
Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect after a shooting left one man injured in the Maryvale area of West Phoenix. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident took place around 3 a.m. on December 31 near the intersection of 45th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard. Police responding to the call found a man with a gunshot wound. The unidentified victim was quickly transported to a hospital, his injuries reported as non-life-threatening.
The suspected assailant had managed to clearly escape before officers could arrive on the scene, leaving investigators to cobble together what transpired in the predawn darkness. Despite the early hour of the confrontation, police are actively asking anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation. They're seeking tips that could help to swiftly bring the suspect to justice.
As per details from a report by Arizona's Family, the Phoenix Police Department has yet to release a description of the suspect.
