Manchester authorities are reaching out to the community for assistance in solving a hit-and-run case that left considerable damage in its wake. The incident, which involved a Ford Super Duty truck, occurred on the evening of January 9, near a significant community building.
The Manchester NH Police social media post details the events, where at approximately 8:45 PM, a truck equipped with a front dual plow and a salter caused a utility pole to collide with the Community Action Partnership edifice, causing a reported $20,000 in damages. The damages included the need for Eversource to replace the fallen utility pole.
Investigators have narrowed down the vehicle to a Ford Super Duty, which might be either an F-250 or F-350, and features not only the plow and salter but also a stake body bed as well. In the efforts to involve the public, authorities released a picture of the truck, hoping witnesses might come forward with critical information. Traffic Investigator Austin Goodman is the point of contact for this case, and the Manchester Police urges, anyone with information to call at 603-792-5444.
