During a winter storm in Memphis, the Memphis Safe Task Force made 22 arrests and recovered multiple illegal firearms, the U.S. Marshals said. The task force continued operations despite the weather, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Rodricko Davis, 38, was charged with assault after hitting a woman with a brick and was taken into custody. Mica’h Finney, 20, was arrested for motor vehicle robbery after a carjacking alert, as reported by the U.S. Marshals Service.
The Memphis Safe Task Force arrested 31-year-old Darnavius Wayne, who was wanted for vandalism, after officers found him with a stolen .40-caliber pistol while responding to a call about a man assaulting a woman. Since September 2025, the task force, made up of federal, state, and local law enforcement and the Tennessee National Guard, has made 5,586 arrests, seized 910 illegal firearms, recovered drugs, and located 148 missing children. "This operation reflects the Memphis Safe Task Force’s commitment to coordinated enforcement efforts and its mission to identify, apprehend, and hold accountable those who pose a threat to public safety," as stated by the U.S. Marshals Service.
