A burglary that took place over a four-day period at 3108 Lakeview Road has prompted a police investigation, with officers responding early Wednesday morning to reports of illegal entry and theft at the warehouse. The Memphis Police Department announced the incident stating that suspects had pried open the bay door between January 16 and 20 to gain access.
The theft was not discovered until January 20, when at approximately 6:40 a.m., the responding officers were informed that several items had been removed from the location by individuals whose descriptions were predominantly shrouded in black attire, three suspects donning black hoodies and pants, with matching shoes, these details are based on available surveillance footage, and while most wore black, the fourth suspect was clad in a mixed ensemble of a brown jacket, a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and dark-colored boots.
The authorities, who are continuing to gather evidence and pursue leads, have urged anyone with information that may assist in the resolution of this case to come forward. A call to Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH could provide a crucial breakthrough as officers comb through the available data and witnesses' statements.
