
Missouri's Governor Mike Kehoe made headlines with his latest round of appointments, tapping six individuals for key roles in boards and commissions across the state. Among the appointed, Matt Gildehaus, a licensed professional counselor from Washington, has been seated at the Truman State University Board of Governors, according to an announcement on the Governor's Office official website. With experience as both a counselor and a business coach, Gildehaus's resume also includes community engagement through leadership roles with the Boy Scouts and service on the United Way of Franklin County Area Board and Rotary International.
Meanwhile, Nancy Gingrich, a retired educator with a lengthy tenure in the Shelby County R-IV School District as a gifted education teacher, was reappointed to the Truman State University Board of Governors; her commitment to community service persists as she leads the Missouri chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) International, alongside past involvements such as volunteering with local Emergency Medical Services (EMS). In the hospitality sector, Alan Hillier's expertise in revenue management earned him a spot on the same university board; bringing insight from his current position as senior manager of revenue products for Marriott International, his academic background is reinforced by a master's degree in criminology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Truman State University.
Further appointments saw Seth Johnson return to the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission, with his significant experience as a real estate appraiser and dedication to civic service exemplified through his role as president of the Missouri State University–West Plains Grizzly Club, as well as Sarah Masterson stepping in as the Marion County Circuit Clerk, District II, where she previously operated in an interim capacity and contributed to community safety as a part-time telecommunications and training officer for Monroe County Joint Communications. Lastly, the Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners will continue to benefit from the insights of Matt Ross, a seasoned barber and co-owner of Southside Barber Shop who has been associated with the board since 2022 and is actively involved in both the National Wild Turkey Federation and the American Tree Farm Program.
