Moore, Oklahoma, is serving up a Spring Break special for the kids this year, aiming to combine sports and fun in a way that will surely get local youngsters excited. The City of Moore has announced its Spring Break Court Combo Jam, a four-day event that is all about keeping the energy high and the kids active with a mix of basketball and pickleball, a sport that's been gaining traction faster than a trending TikTok dance.
The Station Recreation Center will be the hotspot from March 16 to 19, where kids aged 6 to 12 can partake in the festivities from 9 AM to 12 PM daily. The event isn't free, it costs $80 per child, but that seems like a small price to pay for parents looking to keep their offspring entertained – and out of the house – during the break. According to the City of Moore's Facebook post, registration for the event can be done online or over the phone for those who prefer the human touch.
The “Court Combo Jam” program will feature activities such as Pickleball and basketball, offering a variety of options for participants during Spring Break. The program is designed to support physical activity and engagement for children. Parents can register through the city’s website or contact the city for additional details.
