In a tragic turn of events, a 37-year-old man, identified as Paul Creed, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Amelia, Ohio. The incident, which occurred around 4:13 p.m. yesterday on Chapel Road near State Route 132, involved Creed's 1994 BMW motorcycle and a 2008 Saturn Astra, FOX19 reported.
Creed was attempting to pass another vehicle headed eastbound when he was hit head-on by the Saturn, which was being operated by a teenager traveling in the opposite direction. Creed, unfortunately, was not wearing a helmet and died from his injuries at the scene, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The teen driver, who was secured by a seatbelt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was to be taken to the hospital.
