Westbound US 90 (Broad St) between Gentilly Blvd and A.P. Tureaud Ave will have intermittent full closures from 6:00 AM Monday, Jan 19 through 5:00 PM Tuesday, Jan 20, and again Jan 26–27. The westbound I-610 Exit 2B to Broad St will also be fully closed during these times, and drivers should use nearby alternate exits, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Both eastbound and westbound US 90 in the same area will be reduced to one lane from 6:00 AM Wednesday, Jan 21 through 5:00 PM Thursday, Jan 22, and again Jan 28–29. Traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes, eastbound lanes will close, and brief intermittent closures may occur, as reported by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Traffic control and detour signs will be posted, and all work is weather permitting. Drivers are urged to use caution near the construction site, and additional updates are available by calling 511 or visiting 511la.org.
