The City of Norman's Environmental Control Advisory Board (ECAB) is hosting the 2026 "WATER'S WORTH IT!" Poster Contest for elementary students in kindergarten through fifth grade to promote water conservation. Participating classes will create posters about preserving water, which will be displayed at the Uncanny Art House during the April Art Walk from April 10-12. Attendees can vote for their favorite poster through the new People’s Choice Award, as per the City of Norman release.
The first 30 teachers to participate will receive gift cards, and the teacher with the highest student participation will receive a special prize. The grand prize-winning poster will be featured on the official T-shirt for Norman’s Earth Day Festival, with winners honored on April 26 at Reeves Park.
Submissions are due by March 13. More information about the contest and ECAB’s work is available on the City of Norman’s website.
