The waterline repair has been completed, and the roadway has reopened. Normal traffic may now resume in the area, according to the City of Norman.
Earlier, South Pickard Avenue between Symmes and McNamee was closed starting at 2 p.m. on Jan. 24 for emergency waterline repairs. This section is part of a snow route and was fully inaccessible during the repair work.
