In the quiet hours when the city sleeps, the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) conducted a traffic stop that led to the seizure of a sizable cache of illegal vape products. A social media post shared by the department highlighted the efforts of Officer Lopez and Officer Le Starge, whose vigilance on the graveyard shift resulted in the removal of these substances from the streets.
Detailing the haul, NLVPD’s post reported the significant recovery made by officers during the proactive traffic stop. According to the department, officers seized 350 THC wax cartridges, 50 nicotine vapes, and approximately 1.54 pounds (700 grams) of THC.
While the bust may seem routine, the seizure represents a concerted effort in cracking down on the illegal distribution of controlled substances through vape products.
