The O'Fallon Missouri Police Department had a busy week, according to a recent social media post, detailing the period from December 29, 2025 to January 5, where officers handled a notable volume of incidents across the city. With a total of 874 incidents reported, authorities were engaged in matters ranging from routine traffic mishaps to more severe criminal activities.
The O'Fallon Missouri Police Department's figures illustrate an active period for law enforcement with 205 subjects booked and 22 traffic crashes recorded. Among the calls of interest, a parking lot brawl led to the arrest of two individuals, while a separate confrontation involved an uncooperative intoxicated person who was detained to ensure public safety. Additionally, an alleged car thief spurred a high-speed chase which ended in a crash, leading to an arrest; the accused now faces a $200,000 cash-only bond as charged by the Prosecutor’s Office.
In a continuous effort to maintain security, O'Fallon officers also nabbed a suspect linked to an earlier reported robbery. However, not all calls resulted in arrests or disclosed criminal activity; for instance, a scare involving possible gunfire in a residential area was eventually deemed to be a false alarm.
The police were also summoned to a collision at the Veterans Memorial Walk, where the offending motorist initially fled, only to be tracked down and taken into custody.
