A new Target at Wynnewood Village is set to open March 15, bringing a full-line store with groceries, a pharmacy, and same-day delivery options to a part of Dallas that has gone without for years. The store will anchor a long-running overhaul of the 65-acre shopping center and fill a space next to LA Fitness that had once been tagged for a movie theater.

According to Target, the Oak Cliff store at 655 W. Illinois Avenue will cover roughly 110,000 square feet. The company expects to hire more than 160 team members and will roll out Drive Up, Order Pickup, and same-day delivery through Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available across Dallas. Inside, shoppers will find a CVS Pharmacy and a Starbucks Cafe, and store hours are listed as 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

In materials about the opening, Target calls the Oak Cliff location "our 160th store in Texas, and our 51st in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington market" and says the assortment will be tailored to local needs. Wynnewood Village's makeover
