An incident shook a normally tranquil Oklahoma City neighborhood on a Saturday afternoon when a man was stabbed multiple times at his own home, the Oklahoma City Police Department reported that the conflict occurred around 2 p.m. on Joy Road, near East Wilshire Boulevard and North Westminster Road, where the victim encountered a male acquaintance who then assaulted him for reasons yet undisclosed, according to information from KOCO 5.
The individual was quickly transported in critical condition to OU Medical Center, although he managed to provide investigators with a description of his assailant, stating a white man had arrived in a silver Mitsubishi before the violent altercation the unnamed victim was reported to be alert and in stabilized condition following the hospital admittance, despite the serious wounds suffered to his back and bicep, as mentioned by KFOR in a neighbors' statement.
Neighbors, caught off-guard by the sudden violence, expressed their disbelief—Phillip Welch, recently moved in from Florida, said to KFOR, "It’s pretty insane. It’s a very quiet place over here. I didn’t think something like this would happen."
