
Last Monday, San Pablo Police officers responded to a grisly scene following reports of gunfire. The incident took place on the unforgiving asphalt of the 1400 block of Rumrill Boulevard, where they discovered two men, both 36, marred by the violence of multiple gunshot wounds. According to a post from the San Pablo Police Department's social media, the victims, identified as Richmond residents, were rushed to a local hospital.
Despite lifesaving efforts by medical personnel, one man died from his injuries, while a second victim remains in critical condition. Police say the suspect or suspects remain unidentified, and no information has been released regarding a possible motive. The victims’ names have not been disclosed as the investigation continues.
The San Pablo Police Department is leading the homicide investigation stemming from the Monday evening incident. Detectives are actively seeking information from the public and urge anyone with relevant details to come forward.
