
A shooting in South Memphis on Sunday evening has resulted in the death of one man and left two others critically injured. According to Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department received reports of the incident shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of McMillan Street near East Trigg Avenue. On their arrival, officers found three victims with gunshot wounds, with one male victim declared dead at the scene.
Further information provided by FOX13 Memphis detailed that two other male victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, while, updated on the condition of the victims, one remained critical and the other has been deemed stable. At the scene, looking for evidence left behind, police indicated that the suspect had fled in a dark-colored sedan.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident and have called for public assistance. Police are currently engaged in a search to locate the perpetrator who, fleeing the scene in a dark-colored sedan, remains at large.
