Perot Jain, the Dallas venture capital firm co-founded by Ross Perot Jr. and Anurag Jain, has quietly set up a small office at Old Parkland East on Maple Avenue, tucking itself into one of the city’s most sought-after finance hubs. The new space gives the firm a literal seat at the table inside a campus that has become a draw for family offices, banks and professional-service firms.
The Dallas Business Journal reported Monday that Perot Jain opened a 4,200-square-foot office in the development’s new east section, placing the firm alongside a growing roster of finance and legal tenants at Old Parkland.
Permit Records Tell a Tighter Story
State filings hint at a smaller footprint. A tenant-improvement project tied to "PEROT JAIN" is listed at 4030 Maple Ave., Suite 250. Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records for project TABS2026004330 show a 3,083-square-foot buildout with a registered completion date in mid-January. The gap between the permit numbers and the reported office size likely comes down to how lease space is marketed versus how construction work is measured.
Perot Jain’s Roots
The firm’s own materials describe a tight, sector-focused operation. Founded in 2014 by Ross Perot Jr. and longtime business partner Anurag Jain, Perot Jain targets seed and early-stage investments in mobility, defense, healthcare and other tech-driven sectors. Perot Jain notes that it leans on affiliated operating platforms, including Hillwood and Access Healthcare, to help portfolio companies scale beyond their startup phase.
Old Parkland’s Tenant Magnet
Old Parkland East has been steadily filling out with marquee names as part of a wider campus expansion. Law firms and finance outfits have been lining up for the high-end setting and polished floor plates. The Real Deal reported last year that Polsinelli leased an entire floor in the new addition, a sign that demand for top-tier office space in the area is not cooling off.
What the Move Signals in Dallas
For a compact VC team, being down the hall from family offices, lawyers and other deal enablers can matter as much as how many square feet show up on the lease. The setup offers easier access to capital partners and diligence resources without having to cross town for every meeting.
Perot Jain has already been active in the local venture scene, including sponsorship and participation in Venture Dallas, according to Dallas Innovates, and the Old Parkland address drops the firm squarely into the middle of that network.
The office may be modest in size, but the signal is loud enough: Perot Jain is choosing to sit where Dallas capital and professional services are most tightly clustered. Watch for future permit filings or local hiring notices to show whether this remains a satellite-style workspace or the first step toward a larger presence on the campus.
