
Three people were killed and two others were rushed to hospitals after a violent single-vehicle rollover on westbound Interstate 10 near Quartzsite early Thursday morning. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash happened around 5:45 a.m., when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled. Officials Confirm Deadly Scene On I-10
The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed three fatalities and told Arizona's Family that two other occupants were taken to hospitals. Officials have not yet identified any of the victims. According to the report, the single-vehicle rollover happened just east of Quartzsite, and the vehicle ultimately came to rest off the freeway.

State troopers told ABC15 that the vehicle rolled after leaving the roadway and that the cause of the crash remains under investigation. ABC15 also reported that there were no major traffic backups on I-10 as crews worked the scene and cleared the wreckage.

Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are processing the crash site and interviewing any witnesses to piece together what led to the rollover, according to Arizona's Family. Officials typically wait to release victims' names until families have been notified, and investigators say more information will be made public as it becomes available.
