San Francisco Police, in cooperation with multiple law enforcement agencies, cracked down on an Oakland drug house, seizing over 4.5 pounds of narcotics, cash, and ammunition. The bust led to the arrest of four suspects with a history of narcotics-related and weapons charges, as reported by the San Francisco Police Department. Amid a cache of drugs, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine base, police also found $6,730.06 in cash during the raid conducted on Tuesday.
In a detailed inventory, officers confiscated 1,800 grams of methamphetamine, along with 195.7 grams of fentanyl and 38.4 grams of cocaine base, supplied weapons charges and narcotics press molds plus scales that were used for packaging the drugs, which SFPD Chief Derrick Lew described as a significant effort to halt the distribution of deadly narcotics onto our streets. “The SFPD will continue to be relentless in combating the drug markets,” Lew remarked, per the San Francisco Police Department. The drug house takedown featured the coordinated efforts of the SFPD’s Narcotics Unit, the DMACC, the SF Sheriff’s Office, the DEA, and the National Guard.
Among those arrested at the Oakland residence were Delmer Coello, Wilmer Cerrato Barahona, Jose Roberto Espinoza Martinez, and Jose Castro Cruz Araias. These operations are part of a larger initiative that has resulted in over 1,000 lbs. of narcotics seized since the May 2023 introduction of DMACC, a collective that has notably captured 346 lbs. of fentanyl and made more than 12,300 arrests.
