San Jose law enforcement began the new year with a productive start as the Neighborhood Quality of Life Unit (NQL) uncovered a cache of stolen tools during a patrol operation in the city's northeast corridor along Highway 101. The officers discovered suspects in possession of over $15,000 in tools that had been reported stolen earlier from a local plumber in San Martin.
According to a social media post by the San Jose Police Department, the quick resolution of the theft allowed for the immediate contact of the victim and the subsequent return of every piece of stolen property.
The apprehended individuals were ushered into custody. The San Jose Police Department concluded their note with a brief yet resounding endorsement of their crime prevention strategies: "Proactive policing works."
