The City of San Luis is using the Landscape Excellence Awards to recognize residents who improve the city’s beauty and promote sustainability. Nominations for individuals or households can be submitted easily online through the City of San Luis’s official website.
“We are excited to launch the Landscape Excellence Awards as a way to highlight and honor the incredible efforts of our residents in making San Luis a more beautiful place to live, work, and visit,” quoted Angelica Roldan, Director of Parks and Recreation. The initiative encourages community participation and celebrates those who make a visible impact on the city’s green spaces, as reported by the City of San Luis.
The City of San Luis will present the Landscape Excellence Awards to one winner from the East Side and one from the West Side. A panel will evaluate nominations based on curb appeal and the use of native and non-native plants. Winners will receive a certificate, a yard sign, and a feature on the city’s website and social media.
