
A significant collision involving a van and a motorcycle occurred near Johnson Ferry Road and Little Willeo in Cobb County, as reported by the Cobb County Police Department. The incident was reported by FOX 5 Atlanta and occurred yesterday morning, around 8 a.m.
The crash, which involved a gray 2015 Yamaha FZ09 motorcycle and a gray 2022 Chrysler Pacifica, took place when the motorcycle heading northbound on Johnson Ferry Road was struck by the Chrysler as it was making a left turn from a southbound lane, according to a follow-up report by East Cobb News. This collision happened near the Woodlawn Point Shopping Center at about 7:41 a.m., Sgt. Eric Smith, a Cobb Police official, detailed.
The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been revealed, was seriously injured as a result of the crash. Conversely, the driver of the Chrysler did not sustain injuries. The event caused considerable traffic delays in the area that morning. Cobb Police are currently investigating the crash and have not released further details regarding the cause.
