Nashville is about to get a wagyu-fueled shakeup in one of its most historic buildings. NADC Burger, the wagyu-focused cheeseburger brand from pro skateboarder Neen Williams and Michelin-star chef Phillip Frankland Lee, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar Nashville restaurant inside the newly revamped Arcade downtown. The two-story spot at 223 4th Ave N is planned with a grab-and-go counter on the ground floor and mezzanine seating above, all in support of a single-menu mission: a double wagyu cheeseburger and twice-fried fries. Fans can also expect skate-culture details and a mural by a local artist to finish the space.
According to What Now Nashville, NADC has signed a lease for the Arcade address and will share the redevelopment with a slate of other new tenants. The outlet reports that a company spokesperson was not ready to name an exact opening date, with more details expected in the coming weeks. What Now lists the restaurant at 223 4th Ave N inside the Arcade.
Who’s behind the burger
Pro skateboarder Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee co-founded NADC, which started as an Austin pop-up and then expanded to other cities, according to NADC's website. The concept revolves around a single cheeseburger built from two 3-ounce wagyu patties with grilled onions, American cheese, the house secret sauce, pickles, and "slightly tamed" jalapeños, plus twice-fried fries that can be ordered "Beast Mode." Reporting on openings in Chicago and Denver has noted that the menu and wagyu sourcing stay consistent as the brand grows. Eater covered the chain's Chicago expansion.
Design and local art
What Now Nashville says the Nashville shop is expected to mix nostalgic Americana with skate-culture touches and to feature a custom mural by Josh "Odd" Snodgrass. That would track with NADC's playbook, since openings in other cities have leaned into skate-shop aesthetics and large local murals, as Denver coverage has highlighted. Westword noted the Denver location's ceiling-high mural and skate-focused vibe.
Where it sits in downtown
The Arcade has reopened after an extensive renovation and is pitching itself as a downtown dining and retail hub with dozens of concepts, according to the city's tourism office. Visit Music City lists the Arcade among the new experiences that returned to public life in 2025 and says the building is drawing both local and national restaurant names. NADC's arrival adds a fast-casual wagyu option to a stretch that has quickly turned into a focal point for downtown restaurant growth.
When to try it
The Nashville Chamber directory lists NADC as a new member at 223 4th Ave N Unit 10 and labels the shop "coming soon," with local outlets pointing to an early-2026 opening. Neighborhood guide Nashville Guru also carries the address and the "coming soon" note. Until the permanent space opens, the NADC burger is already on the menu at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, according to Davidson County Source.
