
Slidell Mayor Randy Fandal and the members of the Slidell City Council encourage everyone to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by coming together as a community today. This day serves as a meaningful reminder of Dr. King’s message of unity, service, and equality, according to the City of Slidell's Facebook post.
Residents are invited to join the Ministerial Alliance of Greater St. Tammany for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade. The parade begins at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2445 Fourth St, as reported by the City of Slidell.
The parade will travel through Olde Towne and is open to everyone who wishes to attend or participate. All are welcome to celebrate together in this uplifting community event.
