Residents and event planners in Smyrna will soon have a chance to explore four of the city’s featured venues during a special public showcase. The event will highlight Brawner Hall, the Taylor-Brawner House, the Reed House, and the Smyrna Community Center, giving visitors an inside look at spaces commonly used for weddings, meetings, and community events. The historic venues are known for their architecture and long history of hosting local gatherings.
As detailed on the Smyrna official website, there's no entry fee or reservation required. Attendees can begin the self-guided tour at Brawner Hall and move through several venues, each with its own history and character. The first 200 guests will receive a free swag bag, while participants who complete the Passport Challenge will be entered for a chance to win a $1,000 event credit to use at the venue of their choice.
According to the City of Smyrna, the showcase will go beyond a traditional tour, offering an interactive experience for attendees. Local vendors will host workshops and provide samples, giving visitors opportunities to connect with potential event suppliers. The event will feature a range of services, including florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainers, highlighting the city’s event-hosting options.
