The City of Socorro, Texas, is reaching out to dog lovers through social media to find "furrever" homes for two young pups. A recent post from the City of Socorro Government Facebook page introduced the community to a pair of Shepherd Lab Mix puppies, one grey and the other black, in search of loving homes.
These canines are described as healthy young females, approximately 3 to 4 months old, awaiting someone to step up and make them part of their family. The post, adorned with the playful and hopeful phrase "ADOPT US!" signals a plea on behalf of these innocent creatures, seeking affection and stability. The city’s Animal Control will not only help find these dogs a new abode; they're offering assistance with vaccines and microchipping for the new owners. An act of helping hands, stretching from government to citizen, to the canine compatriots at our feet.
Prospective dog owners are encouraged to contact the Socorro Animal Control Department for more details on the adoption process. The department’s commitment to the welfare of these animals is evident in their proactive approach to ensure proper care post-adoption, which includes help with critical vaccinations that guard the pups against disease, and microchipping, a modern safeguard against the heartache of a lost pet. The department can be reached at (915)858-9237, and they are eagerly awaiting calls from potential adopters.
