A man was found shot to death inside a south Phoenix home Saturday morning after officers forced entry during a welfare check near 15th Street and Liberty Lane. Police say the man was discovered with at least one gunshot wound, and his name has not yet been released as detectives continue their investigation.
According to Arizona's Family, officers went to the home shortly after 9:30 a.m. Saturday and located the victim inside. Homicide detectives have taken over the case and are working to determine what led to the shooting and who may be responsible. No arrests have been announced.

No suspect information or possible motive has been released so far, and detectives are asking nearby residents with home security cameras to review their footage and report anything that might help the investigation.
