Raleigh will offer a special edition Black History Trolley Tour on February 21 and 22, taking visitors through Oberlin Village, a neighborhood with a rich history of community and resilience.
Tours depart from Mordecai Historic Park at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., visiting sites such as the historic Turner House and Oberlin Cemetery. Historians on the tour will share information about the neighborhood’s history and its role in promoting freedom and community values. The tour is suitable for all ages and costs $15 per person.
