The Real-Time Crime Center took initiative to start tracking the vehicle as it made its way toward Riverdale city limits. As the suspects' vehicle entered an apartment complex, multiple Riverdale police cars attempted to corner it, only to find the suspects boldly drive past, initiating a chase across verdant landscapes and a culminating dead-end, according to the same video mentioned earlier.
The dramatic pursuit continued on foot into the surrounding woods, with an officer and his K9 trailing behind. A remarkable coordination saw the Clayton County Aviation Unit swoop in, assisting in the overwatch as officers and K9s attempted to flush out the offenders from their hiding. At one point, the video shows officers and the K9 perusing a laundry facility, just before the aerial support spots the suspects in a nearby wooded expanse.

The suspect was discovered lying on his back with hands up and subsequently instructed by the officer to roll over onto his stomach before being handcuffed.
