
Early Sunday morning, a significant traffic incident occurred near Interstate 17 and West Bethany Home Road in Phoenix, resulting in three people hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash involving two vehicles. As reported by ABC15, Phoenix Fire Department crews, responding to the crash scene around 1:30 a.m., discovered the collision and provided immediate medical attention to those injured.
The situation escalated when a vehicle, reportedly evading a traffic stop initiated by Phoenix police near I-17 and Indian School Road, collided with another vehicle leading to the injuries, the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition and alongside her two men were also sent to a nearby hospital both listed in stable condition the Phoenix Fire Department noted, as described by 12News. All injured parties were occupants of the second car that was hit.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle did not escape the consequences of their actions and was arrested, facing charges related to the incident. While the identities and current conditions of the patients were not immediately made available, Phoenix police assured that the injuries sustained were non-life-threatening.
