
Early yesterday morning, a Phoenix apartment complex was rattled by a blaze that hospitalized three individuals, including an police officer. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident took place at a single-story building near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road around 5 a.m., where firefighters were dispatched to tackle the fiery outbreak.
Upon arriving on scene, the fire crews attacked the flames and utilized a ladder for roof ventilation, containing the inferno to one apartment. The skirmish with smoke led to two tenants and an officer being taken to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation, as reported by AZ Family. Sadly, two dogs were found deceased inside the apartment, a stark reminder of the fire's grim reality.
While no firefighters sustained injuries during the response, the community's heartstrings were undoubtedly pulled by the loss of cherished pets.
