
One person was found dead and another was detained Tuesday afternoon at an Auburn apartment complex just a short walk from Thomas Jefferson High School, turning an otherwise routine day into a crime scene that drew officers and investigators for hours. Neighbors reported a large police response as detectives began working to sort out what happened.
As first reported by FOX 13 Seattle, officers arrived at the complex Tuesday and took one person into custody at the scene. The death comes on the heels of a string of violent incidents in Auburn this month. At the time, officials said there was no ongoing threat to the public while detectives followed up on leads.
