Boston’s Mayor’s Youth Summit will take place on February 21. The event will be held at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, according to an announcement from the City of Boston.
The Summit provides an opportunity for Boston youth to engage with city leaders and participate in activities, performances, and discussions. Food and interactive programming will be available. Family members, schools, and community organizations are encouraged to attend.
The Mayor’s Youth Summit was first launched in 1994 under former Mayor Thomas M. Menino and was revived in 2024 after several years. The event is supported by the Boston City Council, including Councilors Murphy and FitzGerald, along with the Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement.
Pedro Cruz, Executive Director of the Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement, and the Human Services Cabinet under Chief José F. Massó are involved in coordinating the event. City officials recently recognized the Office for its work in expanding youth programming and community engagement.
Additional event details are available through the City of Boston’s official announcement.
