The Bridgeton Police Department highlighted the efforts of Animal Control Officer Armstead in rescuing Bella, a dog that had been missing since New Year’s Eve. Residents in the Maryland Heights and Bridgeton areas reported concerns after seeing the dog in a local wooded area. Bella was safely returned to her family in St. Ann.
ACO Armstead spent several hours setting a trap to safely capture Bella, a skittish dog that had been avoiding contact with humans. The police department noted his efforts in a social media post, emphasizing the time and care involved in ensuring the dog’s safe return to its family, according to a Facebook post.
