
The Chesterfield Police Department released a weekly activity report covering February 1 through last Saturday. According to a social media post, the department responded to 1,103 calls, filed 117 original reports, issued 167 citations, gave 168 warnings, and made 28 arrests during the seven-day period.
A theft at a Target store resulted in the arrest of a suspect who took clothing and board games. The individual was booked at the police station, and the case was processed according to standard procedures.
Another case involved a shoplifter at the outlet mall who parked in a police-only spot and attempted to use a bag lined with aluminum foil to bypass store sensors. The individual was arrested by Chesterfield Police, and the case was handled according to standard procedures.
Chesterfield officers stopped a motorist who was weaving through traffic, resulting in an arrest for impaired driving.
