
A construction worker was injured while working on the roof of the St. Paul Apartments in the Madisonville neighborhood. The Cincinnati Fire Department reported the incident on its official Facebook page, stating that their Heavy Rescue 9 team, in coordination with Ladder Truck 31, performed a rope rescue to safely lower the injured worker from the roof.
The worker, who has not been identified, incurred non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. According to the social media post by the Cincinnati Fire Department, "Heavy Rescue 9 firefighters, assisted by the Ladder Truck 31 crew, used rope rescue systems to lower the worker to the ground for transport to the hospital."
