In a bid to foster more opportunities for girls in athletics, The Clayton County Sports & Entertainment Council is pairing up with Clayton County Parks and Recreation to launch the Girls Flag Football 7-on-7 Spring Tournament. This event, kicking off on Saturday, March 14, seeks to celebrate and bolster the fast-growing sport of girls’ flag football, as per the county's announcement.
The tournament will take place at the Lovejoy Soccer Complex located at 1935 McDonough Rd., Hampton, Ga, with former NFL player Evan Oglesby at the helm. Starting at the bright hour of 9 a.m., it promises to offer an action-packed showcase for athletes and enthusiasts alike.
